Five non candy gift ideas for your kids Valentine's Day party

Valentine's Day is right around the corner and I thought now might be a good time to start thinking about what to get for my kids classroom party. I try to steer clear of the candy because I know they will be getting plenty of that from the other kids. So after some careful thinking, I came up with 5 ideas that your kids will be excited to hand out! These do require a little bit of creativity on your part...they will need some cute tags that can be created on the computer in just a few minutes.

1. Bag of popcorn with a cute gift tag that says "I hope you have a poppin good Valentines Day".

2. Pair of sunglasses (you can buy them in bulk on Amazon) with a cute note that says something like "You brighten my day Valentine."

3. A small tub of store bought or homemade play doh with a tag that says "Doh, go breaking my heart! Be my Valentine!"

4. Small Legos in a baggie with a tag that says "You were built for me Valentine".

5. Valentine pop it keychains. These can be bought on Amazon in bulk and are really inexpensive. You can pair it with some store bought Valentine's. I know the adults are over the pop its, but the kids still love them!

There you have it! I hope some of these ideas will help get your creative juices flowing. And if you do not have time to make something, there is nothing wrong with candy!
